Just in time, I suppose [Apr. 13th, 2006|12:07 pm]
John
Yesterday, I finally got to a doctor's. My lungs were getting that tiny bit of congested feeling. By 2am, after 2 doses of antibiotics, my lungs were having that occasional, deep, unstoppable cough that tastes like a small animal crawled into your lungs and died. I'm three doses in on the antibiotics (3 out of 30), and I've decided that, since tomorrow is Friday, I'm taking it as a sick day. (You all do know that I don't get paid sick leave, right?)

Either I've got one of those bugs that gets a bit worse once it starts dying, or I got to my doctor about twelve hours before the bacteria made their move.

If you'll all excuse me, now, I'm going to go zombie around and try to pretend I'm accomplishing something.

I feel your pain about the no sick leave thang. But sometimes, that's what you have to do to take care of yourself.

I hope you feel better soon.

I do hope it's a dying bug, rather then a proliferating bug situation.

Please look after yourself :-)
