|The new year

kightp, who had I had taken to the train station just a bit over 6 hours previously. Next, unsurprisingly, came sleep. Well, it's a new year, with a new set of possibilities. It started with a call from |
Today has been spent doing a little cleaning, and then exercise, and then picking up a prescription. (Oh, yeah, and catching up on LiveJournal, which, as usual, took longer than it seemed it would.)
I've been having a few ideas about my place in the world, and where to go next. I'm not sure where they're going, but they are there, and developing. It's nice to have something like that to think about.
But for today, I've got serious thinking on hold for just a bit longer. I'm doing entertainment free-basing: playing computer games while watching the second set of Ultraman DVDs. Tomorrow, when I go in to Microsoft to clean out my office - no, I haven't been fired, they've just decided that we contractors don't get offices any more.
kightp and I have decided that since we're supposed to work in whatever space we can scrounge, the contractors should take over all of the bathroom stalls as a protest move, pretending that was the only space we could find.
Odds are, this will mean that I'll be working from home unless I'm physically needed at work, and it's rare that I am.
I hope everyone out there is having a happy new year, filled with hope for good things in the future.
