Okay, a ricer won't smash chick peas, leaving the skins behind. Food mill, food processor, blender, etc., are the best options, unless you have inordinate amounts of fun 'shooting' cooled, cooked chick peas out of their skin from between your fingers.

6 weeks isn't really enough time to learn everything one needs for an MCDBA, especially not if one is also job hunting, but damn it, I'm coming awfully close!

Cash flow is now officially negative, but cash position is still good.

A certain nameless insurance company is clearly afraid that I'll take over their company in six years if they hired me, so they don't want me for an actuarial assistant.

My physical therapist is ready to discharge me, which is kinda-sorta good news, I suppose. My knee has been really good, recently... I've had aches, but not tendinitis 'ice pick jabs', and my hip really *is* getting better, mostly.

And, I've been too busy to keep up with either reading or writing livejournal....

I'm breakfasting on the last of the hummus you made two visits ago, love, having had some for lunch every day this week (next time I think I'll freeze it in several small containers instead of one big one!). Oddly, I'm still not tired of hummus.

Let me know how the barbecued pork loin turns out. (-:
