|It's been a long time... (SQL certification)

I work for Microsoft in a SQL Server capacity. I haven't even *thought* of getting certification. While I'm at Microsoft, people will take me at my word that I'm as good as I say, and if I have to job hunt, having worked for SQL support will have people ignore whether or not I'm certified. |
But, my boss said that it's considered a Good Thing and, hell, how hard could it be?
I forgot how they write those tests. Sure, there are some easy questions, but they've gotten clever about trying to fool you. Do you check *this* box to do *that*? Well - "this" box doesn't exist. Are you *sure*? When was the last time you really looked at that box?
They have two choices for how to get documents to show up in a full text search - both seem wrong and unnecessary, but one - well, if the configuration is bad, one *might* help. The other shouldn't. So, pick the one that might.
But I scored an 820; 700 was passing.
