Tapping the hivemind... [Oct. 12th, 2014|08:30 pm]
Does anyone know a good tablet that has 4G (or heck, 3G) connectivity that *isn't* an iPad?

Nothing against the iPad - but I *know* about the iPad. I'd like to know if I can get an Android tablet that has more than just wi-fi. And I'd like to learn more *without* searching wireless providers websites - I'd like to pick the device, and then check providers, rather than letting providers decide for me. (Maybe I'm just being silly - but it matters to me.)

I have both of these tablets and like them very much. You didn't mention what size you wanted. So neither may work for you. I use T-Mobile Data For Life. The Fire HDX is a little more powerful and has, overall, better hardware. The Nexus is older but also hooks into the Google echosystem without having to do unnatural acts.

Your mileage may absolutely vary and what works for me may not work for you at all.
